Multirow data update at once in power app

Hi All,

Help me with a solution. I am trying to get user inputs from power app and storing it into excel. Is its possible to update multiple rows in single submit(instead of choosing and submitting 1 by 1) at power App instead of doing 1 by 1 .

If I try with check box its updating in same row/cell instead of creating new additional row.

I assume your Checkbox looks like this:

If you want to create a new record to the data source when it is selected, you can do so.

Set the OnSelect of button:

ForAll(If(Checkbox.Value=true, Split(Checkbox.Text,",")) As C ,Patch(Table,Defaults(Table),{Column:C.Value}))

If this is not what you want, I would like you to provide more relevant details such as your CheckBox, Form, Function... It would be better if you could explain it with pictures.

Hi Rimmon ,

Thanks for the reply .Here is the exact thing which am looking for a help ,

State is the dependent dropdown of country and City is dependent of State (Created a SharePoint list for this dropdown)

Expected:

Now I want to select more than 1 city (Ex: Austin and Dallas) and it should create 2 rows in excel as follows (In single submit/click I mean instead of going selecting submitting multiple time )

if i use combobox/checkbox result is not as expected its like like - results on same cell instead of creating new row with existing country,state and additional cities

Thanks again for the inputs .Its working partially I mean its creating new row for combo selection but values are not updating .

If I select two states:

Output is like: Instead of taking city texas it took new york once again

Tried : 

ForAll(ComboBox1.SelectedItems As C,Patch(Info,Defaults(Info),{Country:Dropdown1.Selected.Value,State:ComboBox1.Selected.State}))

Could you show me the Item of your Combo Box? If it is a table, you can try this:

ForAll(ComboBox1.SelectedItems As C,Patch(Info,Defaults(Info),{Country:Dropdown1.Selected.Value,State:C.State}))

Hi Rimmon,

Looking for your expertise again ,created a gallery(datatable) for the same (data above) to view the submitted data, update and delete.

Edit : Navigate(Screen1);EditForm(Form1)

Form 1 :

If i try to edit a particular row its taking me to the form but not to the exact one

On click of edit india in datatable :

Note : Item has been updated in form 1 (datatable.selected)
