Newform but I want to keep specific data

When I submit the form, some data I want to clear in order to ready for new data, but there's a dropdown that I want to keep the previous data to reduce time when inputting (this field is rarely to change).

Please help me.

hey @MaiLe 

you need to insert a button into your form, it does not work if it is outside the form.

In the Onselect of the button you can add Reset(DatacardvalueX) to you existing code.

please be aware to change the X with the number of the Datacardvalue u want to reset. You need the Reset function for every input you want to reset

We can handle this using a global variable.

You can try this out . On the screen's Onvisible property add the following code

Set(varDropdownValue, Blank())

No on the Dropdown's OnChange property add the following code

Set(varDropdownValue, Dropdown1.Selected.Value)

Also update the DefaultSelectedItem of the Dropdown to

varDropdownValue

Since the variable is set to blank() initially and updated to reflect any selections, it will naturally handle showing no selection when the variable is blank

Now add this logic to submit the form and to reset all the fields after form submit

SubmitForm(Form1);  // Adjust to your form's name
ResetForm(Form1);

hey @MaiLe 

yeah that happens when u insert the button outside of the form. you need to choose a datacard, make it bigger and insert the button into any datacard. if you do it this way it will work

Looks like i made a mistake please update defaultselecteditems to include []

[varDropdownValue]

You just need to add the button inside the form and it will work . You may check the gif below 

For the button issue please add a custom card and then insert the button
