No Dynamic Content from (changed) PowerApps (V2) trigger

I recently tried changing a trigger from "For a Selected SharePoint Item" to "PowerApps (V2) on one of my Power Automate flows and now I am unable to access any Dynamic content from the PowerApps trigger. The method I used to change my trigger was simply by deleting it and then re-adding the new one. 

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

Hi @Blarue 

You do not have your Trigger open, so I cannot tell.

Do you have Input parameters defined? If not you wont see any. in the V1 one you would, butnot in V2.

this is what the PowerApps (V2) trigger looks like when open:

 Do you know how I can define my input parameters? Or how to use the V1 PowerApps trigger?

hi @Blarue 

Click the + sign on the trigger.

Then you pass in those parameters from your Canvas app

So for example click and select to add a String

Name goes on the left, value on the right.

Then from your canvas app you pass in the values for the parameters.

And just so we are on the same page, you went from a Trigger that would give you details about an Item in sharepoint to a Trigger that requires you call it from a Canvas App.

Hi Michael,

Yes, I do need details about an Item in SharePoint to a Trigger that calls into a Canvas App. I need the ID of the SharePoint list item to be grabbed from the PowerApps trigger and get the dynamic content of the SharePoint item to be available in the rest of my Flow, how do I do that?

To get the ID of the SP item should I use an input parameter as a number vs sting? like so?

Unfortunately hehe we are still crossing wires.

A flow cannot call a Canvas App, a Canvas App can call a flow.

Can you describe your process so I can more accurately understand and help you.

Hi Michael,

I'm trying to complete the PL-100 excercise on this site: Exercise - Add a flow to your Power Apps app - Training | Microsoft Learn and I'm running into the same issue: there is no "Ask in PowerApps" Dynamic content available. I've followed a few search results on resolving this, but unfortunately none work in my M365 developer tenant.

Any clues here?

I am also facing the same problem.
I created a "GetItem_ID" parameter in the Power Apps (V2) trigger, but the SharePoint Get Item connector is not recognizing the "ID" due to a lack of properties not provided by the Power Apps (V2) trigger.
