No parts of Edit Form appear in Preview Mode

Afternoon all. New question.

How do I fix an Edit Form that doesn't appear at all when the app is in preview mode?

To be clear, absolutely NOTHING appears, labels, fields, data...   zip. "Visible" is toggled "On" for all elements in the Form. When the app navigates to the form it's a completely blank screen And I know it's arriving at the right screen because when I take it out of preview mode the Edit Form appears once again as it should.

What am I missing here?

It throws an error with just "xxxxx.Selected". 

Copy that with respect to the OnStart stuff.

For the Item property of the Form use this:

//pseudocode below, adjust as needed
LookUp(dataSource,yourUniqueColumn=Gallery1.Selected.yourAppropriateRecordColumn)

//in the above yourAppropriateRecordColumn might just be Value

Here it's not liking the "=" and value. If value is supposed to be column, how do I determine what the appropriate column is supposed to be?

You guys should be getting paid for this. Just saying.

Try Value first, it must be capitalized.

Usually the above should be it.

If the above is not it, and it must be a column, only you would know.

It's up to you to determine what column in your Gallery's data source corresponds with the one that needs to be in the LookUp column in the Form item SKU=x

One thing I will say, is that the column must have a unique value across all records, or even if the formula works, the behavior will be not correct.

in SharePoint List that column is usually just called ID. However, for your case, it may depend.

Capitalizing the V didn't seem to matter. Tried throwing in a specific column at the end. No errors thrown. Tests succeed as well.
