Not accepting multiple functions - new to PowerApps

Hi there, I am new to PowerApps and learing with Udemey online courses (Alireza Aiabadi and Reza Dorrani). 

I came across this mistake on a simple button on my home screen. Here I want to navigate to 'Screen1' and set a variable (ShipIncidence).  However, I can only add one function, either the Set-  OR the Navigate-function. However, whenever I semicolon-separate the functions (I am working in a Germany PowerApp environment and cannot use commas (,)) it shows an error: 'unexpected character' (or in German: "Unerwartete Zeichen").  

Set(varShipIncidence;Defaults('PGN Issue for KPI'));
Navigate(Screen1;BorderStyle.None)

In parts I am working on productive PowerApps applications and also in my private development environment. 

I am using both OS's: Win11 and MacOS (Apple M1 / macOS Ventura 13.1). 

What am I doing wrong?

I believe for European versions, the separator is a double semicolon ;; instead of your single ;

@Ash13's comment is correct, within Power Apps you have 2 syntax versions.

The syntax in most cases will be a US variant:

• Function(Param1, Param2); Function2()... (, as a parameter separator and ; as a function separator)

In Europe your syntax might be:

• Function(Param1; Param2);; Function2()... (; as a parameter separator and ;; as a function separator

The syntax is dependent on your language settings - just keep it in mind when copying code from another syntax. More info can be found here or in the screenshot below.

New to PowerApps too. I want to create submit button that also "Open" or reset form.

SubmitForm(SharePointForm1);;NewForm(SharePointForm1) - code

but is not working, ; is always underlined. Tried with , and ; and ;; and so on..

separately codes for submit and newform works, together not

as helpful as this post is, quite honestly, this is one of the stupidest decisions from a software manufacturer I have ever heard.

You opt to be a replacement for coding. But then different ways to code depending on region? This clearly shows, that MS has not even the slightest clue of product management.

If you type a curly bracket in Python, it is always treated the same way, no matter if you sit in Japan, France or Canada.

Unbelievable, really!
