On select and Visibility in popup

I have an app that has a gallery that has an icon that when clicked popups up a form in ViewMode, I have added a new button to create a new record.

On the New Record button I have this code:

UpdateContext({lclPopUp: "Info"});
NewForm(Form3_2)

Works great and opens the form correctly.

The issue is that if the user decides they do not want to create the new record and they click on the cancel button I want it to close the popup and return them to the gallery.

If i just hit the X for the whole setup it closes but leaves the two buttons visible and I am not sure sure how to get them to hide again when the form mode is NEW

When the form is selected from the gallery it works as expected

How do i get the funcationality to have it appear only when in New or Edit mode and to close when in NEW mode if the cancel button or the X in the popup are hit?

try setting the visibility of your form to

If(Form6.Mode=FormMode.New,false, true)

This is what is currently on my form visibility 

lclPopUp = "Info" 

What will that do for the buttons and the form when in view or edit mode?  I am lost sorry

Then try this in the forms visbility (But change form6 to your form name Form3_2 I think it was?

If(Form6.Mode=FormMode.New,
   false, 
   lclPopUp="Info") 

Buttons visibility should be set to the forms displaymode so only appear when form is in mode you want them to

in my example

If(Form6.Mode=FormMode.New || Form6.Mode=FormMode.View,false, true) 

made my button only visible when form6 was in edit mode, and hid it otherwise

Well it shows the form when in Edit but nothing now in New or view???

I thought you wanted the form to close when in new, and the cancel button to not appear while in view. Code Above should

/Show your form in View Mode with no button/

/Not show your form or cancel button in New mode/

/Show your form AND cancel button while in edit mode/

If that is what it is doing that's what I meant to happen, if it's not I think you may have put something I sent in the wrong control

So here are the scenarios

I click on an active record out of the gallery it should display the form and have the EDIT button Visable, when the edit button is clicked it will hide the edit button and show the Save and the Cancel Buttons, if the Cancel button is clicked it returns the form to view mode.

If the new button is added both the save and the cancel should be shown and if the cancel is selected it will close the popup and the form. When the save it selected I already have Submit Form programmed and working.

In Following I have

Form6 (rename to whatever you want)

Three Buttons

    Cancel

    Edit

    Save

I have in the gallery to open a view form

ViewForm(Form6)

Can also reset it before you call that function, or however you want to call it.

This loads my form, in view mode, for the item.

On this is a button that says edit.

It's visibility is

If(Form6.Mode=FormMode.New || Form6.Mode=FormMode.Edit,false, true) 

It's OnSelect is

Switch(
        Form6.Mode,
        2, EditForm(Form6))

When you click edit It switches the form into edit mode, and our Cancel and Save buttons appear, their visible property is

If(Form6.Mode=FormMode.New && newversionVar=false || Form6.Mode=FormMode.View ,false, true) 

Save button you know how to handle, Cancel has an OnSelect of

Switch(
        Form6.Mode,
        0, ViewForm(Form6),
        Set(newversionVar,false))

and the visibility of my form is set to

If(Form6.Mode=FormMode.New, newversionVar, true) 

This says if it is in newmode, visibility relies on newversionVar, otherwise it is visible if in edit or view. On your button to open a NEW form be sure to add in set(newversionVar, true)

because it is throwing an error where am i setting that VAR

Ok so you have addressed the save, edit and view but when i click on the NEW button to add a new item the form is not showing when i click the button?
