OnSelect - SendEmailV2 field data vanishing and delay.

Hi everyone, 

I'm having an app crippling issue that I cannot for the life of me understand. 

I have an app that manages works services at multiple locations. Amongst several other in app email functions, I have an  OnSelect command that sends an email to the service provider. For some reason this function has started failing in bizarre ways. 

Sometimes the email arrives and the details of the email (which is provided by the field: Emailfield_text_2.Value) is completely blank. If I delete what is in the field and type something new then click the button, it often sends whatever was last in the field before I deleted it. So it appears as if the app isn't sending data that is in the field, but instead, data that it last registered is in the field. It's worth noting that I did have a refresh function after the email command, but before the navigation away. I have tested if this is the issue by moving it to a separate refresh button. This problem is often prevented if I click outside of the email text field and wait for a while before pressing send. Unfortunately, this isn't a realistic solution for end users. 

Additionally, other data that I pull from a variable current record sometimes vanishes too, according to end users, though I haven't replicated this issue myself, beyond failing to select a record before I click the send button. 

Please note: My email field is not connected to a database, it is simply a text entry field.

Hello @Jammaster88 ,

For your first point, can I ask you if you're using the modern control for input text or the classic?

With the modern control, you can adjust when the "Value" of the input is "input" with the "TriggerOutput" property. Swiching it's value to "KeyPress" should make the control more reactive.

With classic control, you should check "DelayOutput" property and set it to false.

As for your second point, that seems like a logic fail somewhere in your app. Maybe the variable is reset or set to another value and thus "vanishes"?
