Patch multiple combobox selections to Excel

Hello

I have 5 comboboxes with multiple selections in each one. 

How do I collect and patch them to Excel?

Patch( DataSource, BaseRecord, ChangeRecord1 [, ChangeRecord2, … ])

• DataSource – Required. The data source that contains the record that you want to modify or will contain the record that you want to create.
• BaseRecord – Required. The record to modify or create. If the record came from a data source, the record is found and modified. If the result of Defaults is used, a record is created.
• ChangeRecord(s) – Required. One or more records that contain properties to modify in the BaseRecord. Change records are processed in order from the beginning of the argument list to the end, with later property values overriding earlier ones.

Do your comboboxes have multiple selections or is it one selected item per combobox?

So if someone selected the items 'Samle1', 'Sample2', and 'Sample3'

Would you want it to show up in Excel in one row column as 'Sample1, Sample2, Sample3'

Or do you want it to perform a Patch() on each selected item?

Thanks for your patience! 

Any number of options could be selected within each combo box and several (but not all) of the comboboxes may be used.

I have tried collecting everything to a label with:  Concat(ComboBox1.SelectedItems,Result,", ")  but I had problems clearing the data from the label each time the Gallery loaded. so now I'm hoping to collect the selections from the Comboboxes and patch directly to Excel. Is this possible?

You should be able to drop that Concat() function right into the Patch()

Like this

Patch(testExcel,First(testExcel),{Text:Concat(ComboBox1.SelectedItems,Value1,", ")})

I made a test collection called testExcel (behaves the same as Excel), and Patched the first row with multiple selections from a combobox.

Thanks for your help - each combobox has its own column on the datasource.

How do I patch each one to an individual column on the same row?

Also, I don't understand the "First"

ClearCollect(mycombocoll{Consolidation_des_acquis_grammaticaux:Concat(ComboBoxConsolidGram.SelectedItems;Result;",")});;
Collect(COURSTABLE; mycombocoll);;
