Patching repeating table collection to SharePoint list as part of patch form

Hello,

I am patching fields from both my main form and collection to two separate SharePoint lists.

SharePoint list for main form is named: DocData
SharePoint list for the collection (colDocData) is named: colDocDataSP

In the collection section, I have + button to add new rows and whilst this data is saved into the collection, only the initial row is saved to SharePoint.

This is my current patch statement:

I have followed @ShaneYoung 's YouTube video about Repeating Tables here

Towards the end of his video he suggests patching all the data using a ForAll( function - I've put this together with my fields as follows:

(ForAll(colDocData, Patch(colDocDataSP, Defaults(colDocData), {spSubtopic: Subtopic_dd.Selected.Result, spSubtopicBreakdown: SubtopicBreakdown_dd.Selected.Result, spArgument: Argument_input.Text, spEvidence: Evidence_input.Text})

I just can't see how I can fit this in with my scenario? Because I have the following code to link the two lists - as obviously (unlike Shane), I am using a fully patched form rather than using an Edit form control and a patched form for just the collection details. 

DocumentDataID: varCurrentRecord.ID, // Linking the two lists

 Any ideas on how to approach this?

Hi @sudosaurus ,

When pressing the Save button, there should already be a collection that colDocData is finished in the Gallery. You should reference the collection columns instead of Controls within the collection Gallery.
