Power APPS Rich Text not saving info

Hello there!

I'm trying to create a kind of F.A.Q and my idea was to copy the text intended for the FAQ from Microsoft Word and paste it to a Rich Text box and then people would be able to see the text over there.

The problem is that I can paste the text from Microsoft Word to the rich text input box, but after I save my  APP and close it, the rich text box doesn't seem to save the text and it always come back to its default state which is blank.

I have tried to check the rich text configurations but it doesn't seem to have an option to save the info that is imputed or something alike .

To what data source do you save it to?
If you just want to display text then use HTML text.

You can also set the text for the RichText editor in the Default. (See image) Set your default text there and set the RichText Editor to display mode View

I have actually wrote the data in Microsoft Word, but I was trying to copy and paste it as text in Powerapps, I have tried to use the Default Mode property of Rich Text, but the problem is that I Can't save it on a good format, the default property of rich text only let you paste the text in there without any formatting at all.. 

So basically I don't know what to do...

Where are you trying to "save it to"? If the rich text editor is an app and you close and reopen it then it will be cleared out. You will need to save the data somewhere like SharePoint List or something to retrieve it later.

The only way it will "save it" when you open the app is if you have the text saved as the default. The reason that will is that when it resets the field (which it does when you close and reopen the app) it is resetting it to the Default for that text input.

Okay, but is there a way that I could paste the text that I've copied from word, paste it on the Default property of rich text and then format it so I wouldn't remain in a long paragraph? Or some other option to display this long text ?

@BrkProdig  what is your data source?

Are you trying to save the rich text to SharePoint or SQl or excel?

You can set the text you want as the Default but to save as the Default there it will need to be in HTML not pasted in from word. 

If you do put it as the default then when it is opened it will be that each time, even if people go in and try and make changes to it -- that won't be saved without a data source tied to it. Now if you have it put in as the html in the Rich editor and then you make some changes to it in the App and then copy and paste it back to Word it will hold the format going back to Word. 

If you want it to always open the same then do the basic html in the default. But if you will be making changes to it often or want to "save" that data, then you need to create a sharepoint list or something similar to store that data. If you do the SharePoint list then you can set it to hold Rich Text so it will open back up that way after you save each time.
