Dear all,

I archieved to show the values in the field like i want but they are not safed to the item.

Is this possible or am i on the wrong track?

Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I assume the error says numbers and text are not compatible, so then convert the number to a text:

LookUp(
    Choices(
        Test.auswahl
    );
    Value= Text(DataCardValue2.Selected.val)
)

Hi @Anonymous ,

Try this for the Update property of the data card:

LookUp(
    Choices(
        DataSource.auswahl
    ),
    Value= ComboBox.Selected.val
)

You will have to replace "DataSource" with the name of your SharePoint list and "ComboBox" with the name of your combo box.

Hi @BCBuizer ,

thank you for your reply but sadly this does not change anything and i also get an advice that the datatypes cannot be compared:

4-Update.png

For example if the value 80% is selected then "4" should be safed in the sharepoint field but nothing happens at the moment.

Hi @BCBuizer ,

thank you that works so far. One more thing now. When the SharePoint element is opened again then the safed value e.g. "4" is shown again. Is there are possibilty that the "4" is again transformed in "80%"?

I tried to edit the default property of the dropdown datacard like mentioned in other threads here but with no luck 😞

Default:

LookUp(Table({Text:"100%";Val:5};{Text:"80%";Val:4};{Text:"50%";Val:3};{Text:"30%";Val:2};{Text:"10%";Val:5}); Val = Parent.Default).Text

Error --> Number and Record are not comparable.

Sry for all the questions i am rather new to this.

Hi @Anonymous ,

To be honest it seems a bit pointless to continuously convert from one value to another, but the below may do the trick if set as the DefaultSelectedItems property of DataCarValue2:

Switch(
    Parent.Default;
    "5", "100%";
    "4", "800%";
    "3", "60%";
    "2", "40%";
    "1", "20%";
)

Hi @BCBuizer ,

i am sorry but this does not work either 😞

It leads to the error "wrong argument type (text) record expected".

Then i tried:

Switch(
    Parent.Default;
    {Text:"5"}; {Text:"100%"};
    {Text:"4"}; {Text:"80%"};
    {Text:"3"}; {Text:"50%"};
    {Text:"2"}; {Text:"30%"};
    {Text:"1"}; {Text:"10%"})

But then the field is always shown as empty if an existing SharePoint List Item is opened again.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Switch(
    Text(Parent.Default);
    "5", "100%";
    "4", "800%";
    "3", "60%";
    "2", "40%";
    "1", "20%";
)

I found a solution for the "last" problem which i want to share with you. The following code in "DefaultSelectedItems" works like i want to:

Switch(Text(ThisItem.auswahl.Value);
"5";Table({Text:"100%";Val:5});
"4";Table({Text:"80%";Val:4});
"3";Table({Text:"50%";Val:3});
"2";Table({Text:"30%";Val:2});
"1";Table({Text:"10%";Val:1})
)

@BCBuizer

Thank you for your help!
