Power Apps & SharePoint list

Dear all,

I have created an App using different SharePoint lists as data and I would like to know if is possible to somehow restrict the SharePoint list so no one can access it or view but that anyone can use the App, so the permissions of who can change what are set only in the App.

I would like to restrict the limit of who can edit or view the SharePoint list, as I would like to avoid anyone using the SharePoint list:

• The main idea is that the user only enter data, make changes or see information in the App, not in the SharePoint list
• The user should not enter new info or edit an item in the SharePoint list, they all should use the App.
• Is there a way to kind of hide the SharePoint list? So the SharePoint list is very difficult to find.

There may be a better way, but I have achieved this using a custom SharePoint permission.

First go to Settings -> Site permissions -> Advanced permissions settings

This should take you to the old style SharePoint page. In the top ribbon, select Permission Levels, then Add a Permission Level

The permissions I have for a custom 'PowerApps only' permission level are:

I believe the key one is to untick 'View Application Pages'. You might want to try out other permissions for your specific needs, but this blocks users trying to access the lists on the web:

Once you have the permission level set up, you can add people/groups to a list with Settings -> List Settings -> Permissions for this list:

You can then Grant Permissions (you may need to stop inheriting first), here you should be able to choose people/ groups and give them your new custom permission level:
