Power Bi Tile unable to select workspace.

Hello,

I am exploring the PBI tile but it won't let me select a workspace. Is this a connection issue/ I didn't set things up correctly? I have a Pro License for PBI and have built some small dashboards/ tiles to test on, but it won't even let me choose a workspace. Happy to provide more information, not entirely sure where to look. I have successfully built reports with Apps built in, just hoping to show off the Apps with an embedded PBI.

Whatever report you have created in your Power Bi workspace, go there and get the embedded URL: From below step you can get the embedded URL of your Power Bi report:

Copy the embedded URL as shown in above screenshot and in PowerApps Power BI tile control, there is property named as "TileUrl"

Paste the embedded URL into the TileUrl property of Power Bi title control. This the alternate way to map the URL in Power Bi Tile.

NOTE: The embedded URL should be added in double quotes as shown below:

I got this method to work and I can see it being a cool tool, is there any way to get one individual tile working like how the power app is trying to do? If not I'll just go ahead and mark you as the solution.

Hi @ctruxillo , Before answering the question I would like to help you with below details. You must be knowing already but still for other people who are building this for first time:

While creating a report, you can create a single report or you can create multiple reports within a dashboard. Below is the place from where you create single report or a dashboard:

And this is how, you can make the difference whether it is a dashboard or report:

Also please check the difference between Dashboards and Reports:

Now, regarding the issue that you were facing could be because of browser, so please consider clearing the cache of your browser, and then sign in your PowerApps again, try the Power BI Tile control again, check if the issue is solved.

The Power BI Tile control would need some time to sync the information from the Power BI account (which should be the same account you used to sign in with PowerApps side.

Also if a direct report is created without creating dashboard or within a dashboard, in both the cases the solution that I gave will work for you.
