PowerApps with OneDrive and SHARED folder

Hi - I need some help with an app that I have created and have working.  I shared the app with other users and it kinda works, but not the way I want it to.  Here are the specifics.

The app takes one or more pics and then saves them to a OneDrive For Business folder named XXXXXX using a Flow  All good.  I have shared the App and the OneDrive For Business with other users.  They take pics and save and it works (kind of).  What happens is instead of using the SHARED folder XXXXXX, it creates their own folder named XXXXXX under their root.  I cannot figure out how to save it to the main XXXXXX folder I created and shared with them.  Anyone have any ideas on how to reference the shared folder specifically?  If I log in as one of the other users and go to the Flow, I cannot even manually select the Shared Folder, all that appears is just "Root".  How do I get to the Shared Folder?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

(Edited to update with information that the Save and Retrieve pieces are being performed by a Flow)

When they open the App and click "Allow" for the connectors they are clicking "Allow" for their OneDrive. If you want it to go into your OneDrive and then share that folder with them I am about 98% sure you will need to use Flow to put the items there instead of doing it in PowerApps. 

Might wait a few and see if anybody else has found a way to make that happen in PowerApps but I do not think you can.

Thanks for the quick reply... I should have been more specific in my original post and I apologize for that. 

I am using Flow to perform the Save and Retrive operations.  I pass in the path "XXXXXX" from PowerApps to the flow and instead of using the passed in parameter of the shared folder, it creates that folder for each user under their own root folder.  But even if I am logged in as one of the other users and go to the Flow, it only shows "root" to manually set the folder in flow, I do not see the shared folder at all.

Usually the trigger is the key then.

If the trigger is by something that is considered "you" starting it then it will all go on you (this works for me on 'When an item is created' or 'Recurrance') but if I have it triggered by something the user does...like..button in PowerApps or something then it goes to their OneDrive.

Right, the flow is triggered by a button in the app.  The user takes pictures on the phone and then clicks a button to submit them to the flow.  I need the flow to put all the pictures into the same folder.  I pass in the shared folder name (XXXXXX) and instead of it going to the shared folder, it creates the folder name on their drive.  I need the "full path name" of the shared folder to pass in to the flow.  Where can I obtain the full path name?  When I look at the share link it creates, it's not a path that I can use, I don't think. Is the path name in the link that is sent to the user that it gets shared with?  That link looks like this:

OneDrive is tricky to use in Flow when using for multiple users. If I am the trigger I often use OneDrive but if I want to share it with people I put in SharePoint Library. They can still "sync" with it and then it works the same as it would for OneDrive (as in get to via File Explorer and can get to offline). 

With them pushing the button they are the one doing the "trigger" so I don't know that is possible for them to create something in your OneDrive. I can't say it is impossible...but I don't know of a way to do that.

Only other way I know to do and use OneDrive is when they click the button it modifies something and then I trigger off that. 

Example: I have one that is triggered in PowerApps but I create a pdf document and I like the OneDrive way of doing that best. Users click the button. So what I did was added a column to my SharePoint list that is "Flag" and when they click the button it updates that item value to "PDF". I have a flow that is triggered by that item being modified and the Flag column having a value of PDF. It creates the document ..uses my OneDrive to convert to PDF and at the end I clear the Flag column and make it blank again. 

So there are ways that it can be done but you will have to think "outside the box" to do it.

Thanks for the response and info.  Before I go into your suggestion, do you or anyone else know of a way to pass in a shared folder path?  What is the use of having a shared folder if the people you have shared it with cannot access it from their OneDrive?

You can look at the one for OneDrive called "Create share link". I haven't used it in a while but it should allow you to share, set how (Edit/View/Direct) and then it will allow you email a "link" to the file that they can click on to open it. 

I have only used it once myself.

We actually use this process - go to the OneDrive folder, click the "three dots" and then Manage Access > Advanced and then Grant Permissions (top menu icon). We found we need to do this to share all contents properly.

@WarrenBelz  - Thanks for the reply.  I can get it shared and have done those steps.  Using OneDrive application everyone can see and use the shared folder.  My problem is specifying the shared folder in the app to pass to the flow.  Consider this:

Using my user, I create a shared folder named "EquipPics" so the complete path is "\Wiese\EquipPics".  I share it with user John.  For my user it works.  However when user John uses it it behaves like this:

• If I use the path "EquipPics" it creates a folder named "\John\EquipPics"
• If I use the path "\Wiese\EquipPics" it creates a folder named "\John\Wiese\EquipPics"

How are you passing the folder name or even just specifying it directly in the flow?
