Pulling input from DataTable on one screen to an open text box on another

Currently working on an App that would need to be saved by the EU, and then pull the entry from the saved SharePoint list and continued upon. 

On the main screen of the app, there is DataTable1, which they can select to make additions on a different screen to complete the form. 

However, I would like to take the entries that they have already submitted to the SharePoint list (via the entry the select through the DataTable1), and have the information the EU has already completed onto the 'Edit' screen to continue their work on.

If I understand you correctly, you would want to make sure your EditForm Item property is set to the Selected Item in your DataTable.

So, this formula on your Item property of the EditForm : DataTable1.Selected

Should do the trick.

@RandyHayes I guess I should have been clearer on my Edit screen ---

The edit screen is a carbon copy of the screen where the EU will first submit data to the Share Point list. However they might not be able to finish it all before the form is finalized. Its more of an, 'as you go' style. 

So the Edit screen is isn't a EditForm, but a bunch of Text Input boxes as well as some check boxes and Date/Time fields. So I would like for the DataTable1 to fill out whatever information has already been submitted at that point from previous entries.

I hope that makes more sense.

So if you're not doing an Edit form, then you're going to need to do all the functions that an EditForm provides (for simplicity, you might want to consider an EditForm).

If you are going to stick with a custom form, then you will need to set properties on all of your controls to reference DataTable1

So, for example, for Name of Patient textinput control, you will need to set the Default to DataTable1.Selected.Name (assuming that Name is the name of the actual column that contains the patient name).

Likewise you will need to do this for each control you have on your Edit Screen.

Finally, you will need to implement a button that will either UpdateIf or Patch your datasource with the values that are contained in all of those controls on the Edit Screen.
