Words of wisdom and years of experience: Don't overcomplicate and don't re-engineer what is already available. Leave your developer hat at the door - you're not developing traditional apps. Remember PowerApps is modeled after Excel - Reference, Reference, Reference...you don't set variables in Excel to the result of a formula in a cell...you reference it - same in PowerApps. Stay away from variables and collections as much as possible (not bad, just completely overused and will complicate your design.) Be aware of bad advice! Have fun!
