Real-time Coauthoring in Power Apps Canvas Studio

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to implement the new real-time coauthoring functionality in Power Apps Canvas Studio but I'm encountering an issue. I managed to enable it, but one user remains in read-only mode instead of both having editing capabilities in real-time

And to enable it, I followed these steps:
Settings > Upcoming features > Experimental > Enable live updates to On.

Has anyone successfully implemented this without facing the read-only issue for one of the users? Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @FrancesJohnson , I hope that you are not using this feature for any production uses. Because it is recently added and it is still in experimental stage. And as per the information, it never says that all users will have editing rights.

I checked the above mentioned learn article. If you read it carefully, this is what I found:

I would suggest you wait for few more weeks to get more clarity on this feature.

Hi @FrancesJohnson , Now Microsoft has added Coauthoring (preview) section in the learn article which was not there earlier and I hope you were looking for this feature.

You can find more detail on above article. 

NOTE: Don't use it for production app until it is GA.

I've been using the 'Enable live updates' and 'Enable coauthoring' preview settings for a couple of months. Yes, we've run into the "read-only" issue in the past. As a team, we worked out how to proceed with time slicing.

This morning (7/8/24) we ran into an issue, when loading the solution, we get a re-occurring popup "Accept Coauthoring preview terms?"  If accept is pressed, we see an "coauthoring setting enabled" in our Azure DevOps repo.  The popup is dismissed and a refresh is attempted. However the same popup is displayed and loops for every accept.  If Decline is pressed, we see a "coauthoring setting disabled" in our Azure DevOps and we cannot get into the application.   Multiple Machines/Users/Browsers/Browser modes all ending with the same results as described above.  

Is there a way to change the project settings outside the powerapps environment or revert the Environment this project resides?
