Reference sharepoint list and library in one gallery.

Hello,

I was wondering if this would be possible.

Right now I have a gallery in my app, where the information is based on a SharePoint list, however this limits me because I cannot have an image saved in that gallery. So not I have a sharepoint document library that has the thumbnails I would like to use saved.

The sharepoint list is called DISCIPLINES and in the items field of the gallery I currently have the following:

Search(DISCIPLINES,
tbSearchforCampaign_1.Text,
"Title"
)

This works as desired, it shows the information I need, except for the image. In the gallery I have an image spot, and am trying to figure out how to have the document library image show. The name of each of the images is identical to the title of each of the rows of data in the DISCIPLINES list. The name of the document libray is "discimage". Again, the names of the rows in DISCIPLINES and the name of each picture in discimage are identical.

Is there any way to connect these?

Also, I will not ever be adding new images or data to disciplines.

Assuming the Image control is in the same gallery as your Disciplines list

   discimage,
   Title = ThisItem.Title
).'{Thumbnail}'.Large

Hello again, I was wondering if you would have an answer to another question regarding this same situation.

The solution works great, however I do have one problem. One of the images, the first one in the gallery, doesn't seem to load. It does when I am editing the app and refresh the sharepoint list, but not on startup. And not when a user is actually using the app. 

Any ideas or thoughts?

It is a simple filter and should show all matching items. What is the actual code you are using for the Items of the gallery and on the Image property of the image control. Also what type of file is it (not all thumbnails resolve into images).

As I mentioned, the interesting part to me is that it doesn't load right away. But when I refresh the sharepoint document library it does load then. All of the images are .jpg

How many images are in the Library? You have two Delegation restrictions in your code (one in each)

I only have 16, and will probably rarely have that number change, so I have just been ignoring the delegation warnings.

Then they all should display if the values match. Is there any pattern to this?

No pattern other than it in only the first image in the gallery. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. If it isn't showing and you refresh the library while editing the app then it will appear.
