Reference to another Power App

I've created 5 simple Power apps each of which reference a specific table.

I'd like to create a "master" Power App that would show a list of these already created Power Apps and once the user selects one, it would pull up the specific app. Once done, the user could easily return to the master list.

Hi @polarisking , You can achieve this by creating One master App. Example: The master app will consist of one screen and in that screen you will have one gallery which consist of all child apps list. The child apps name will be added as Button and the text property of button will have child App name. OnSelect of this button you will use Launch function. In below example, my main App name is lets say Main App, then I have 5 child apps, lets say App1, App2, App3, App4 and App5. So this is how the main app screen will look like:

The Item property of your gallery will be 

Table(
    {
        Name: "App1",
        URL: "https://App1"
    },
    {
        Name: "App2",
        URL: "https://App2"
    },
    {
        Name: "App3",
        URL: "https://App3"
    },
    {
        Name: "App4",
        URL: "https://App4"
    },
    {
        Name: "App5",
        URL: "https://App5"
    }
)

The Text property of button within gallery will be

ThisItem.Name

OnSelect property of button within gallery will be 

Launch(
    ThisItem.URL,
    {},
    LaunchTarget.Replace
)

There will be Home button on each home screen of your child apps. OnSelect of that will be :

Launch(
    URLOFMAINAPP,
    {},
    LaunchTarget.Replace
)

You can get the URL of each apps from:

I'm getting this message relative to the Launch instruction

Is it objecting to the colon in the URL?

Hi @polarisking , ThisItem.URL means that you need to refer to column in which you have URL stored. You do not need to put the actual URL. Did you used the actual code that I have suggested in my previous response? I mean can you share the Item property of your gallery of main app please.

I think the URL reference may have fixed my problem. Again, I cannot thank you enough. I'll code the remaining 5 of 6, put the Back button into each child app, and let you know how I end up.

Just use above code on button OnSelect property.

Do not use actual url. Your URL i stored in table. And you just need to refer to URL column.

Almost there. I'm doing something stupid and probably patently obvious with the name pointers.

I have six apps named:

• Company Type
• Domain
• Expertise
• Practice Area
• Project Type
• Service

The Item properties are pointing to the correct URL for each app. When I press each app's button, however, I'm always ending up at the Project Type app. I think I'm not correcting assigning the App name in each button's Properties area. I want the name of the app on the Button, of course, but I need the "identity" of the app in the properties area. Again, I'm sure I'm doing something stupid.

Hi @polarisking , The Text property of button will be ThisItem.Name

Make sure that the Default property of gallery is blank.
