How to I remove an environment in PowerApps?

Hi 100fthebest,

Yes currently it is not available to remove the created environments under PowerApps.

But this feature should be added soon.

so our only option (until you give us the ability to delete an environment) is to increase our PowerApps subcription to permit three databases, yes?

if so, i wonder how to modify my PowerApps subscription...

Just wanted to confirm the developers are working on this idea now (1/31/2017) and hope to have it deployed in a month so roughly March. 

As a temporary work around the admin could remove all maker permissions from users so that they cannot create new resources in the environment. If existing apps are removed, the environment will not show up in the environment selection drop-downs for PowerApps users.

Why create a two database limit with no ability to delete?

Hello dude,

There is a way to delete environment. Go to environments list, chose to delet one, go to details segment opf descrioption (right after security segment) at bottom of segment You'll find delete environment option.

I created a new environment 'MyThirdEnvironment'.

When I then try to make a database for this environment, I get Error 'User cannot provision more databases. The current license limit of 2 databases has been reached.'

So I tried to delete the environment 'MySecondEnvironment' (with the above mentioned button).

After this, the environment overview screen still shows the deleted environment 'MySecondEnvironment', but with message:

'MySecondEnvironment' wasn't fully deleted. Retry deletion or contact support.

Also, I can still not create a database for my new environment 'MyThirdEnvironment'.

Who knows how to proceed?

I simply waited. After a couple of days, the problem was solved automatically...

Gear icon --> Admin center --> Environments --> select the one you want to delete --> click Delete / trashcan  (top right)

The backend task might take a minute or two to complete.
