Restrict checkout date and time grater than current date and time in canvas app

Hi Community Team,

  In canvas app screen contains datepicker, hour dropdown and minute dropdown.

 My requirement is restrict user,  user select checkout  date and time  is grater than current date and time 

show error message and disable submit button.

Kindly help to achieve the requirement.

Hi @Powerappsdev2,

Set the submit button Display mode property to this:

If(dteCheckout <= Now(), DisplayMode.Edit, DisplayMode.Disabled)

Set the Date picker OnChange property to this:

If(dteCheckout > Now(),
    Notify("Ensure check-out is before now", NotificationType.Warning);
);

Feel free to change the code to your requirements.

are you looking for date or data and time

if you are looking for time too than iit will be little difficult as you also need to check the timezone as well

Above given formula worked only date picker but my requirement is it's work on hour value and minute value.

        DateValue.SelectedDate,
        HourValue.Selected.Value,
        TimeUnit.Hours
    ),
    MinuteValue.Selected.Value,
    TimeUnit.Minutes
)<Now()

Here datevalue is my datePicker and HourValue is my hours dropdown and Minutevalue is my minutes  dropdowm

When i selected time less than current button is edit mode

Thanks a lot,it's working.

 One more Thing when button is disable status .Notify the error to user(error message: Invalid date and time)
