SQL drop down or maybe delegation issue?

I have two problems. 

The first is the drop down is not valued correctly from the record selected in the gallery. 

The second problem is the drop down only has 1 option while there are 3 different values for UK_Segment in the table that exist in the database.  Sometimes I get two or three records in the drop down and I don’t know why. I thought this might be due to delegation.  The table has 3,000 records in it.   

I select a record from a Gallery. 

This is the drop down from the edit screen.  It only shows 1 value when it should have 3.  It also doesn’t match the record selected from the Gallery.  All other attributes on the edit screen match the selection from the gallery.

What am I doing wrong.

The Distinct function is not delegable. That's the reason why your dropdown doesn't show all 3 values.

If you need to show the distinct UK_Segment values, the best thing to do is to create a SQL Server view that returns the distinct values.

I fixed my drop down so the record selected on the Gallery now updates the dropdown correctly in my edit screen.  By doing the following. 

Items:   Gallery_Main.Selected

But the drop down still only shows one value. 

I want to combine the following into the items drop down so I can get the correct value from the gallery and still have the drop down with all the valid items to select.  Something like this.

Items:   Gallery_Main.Selected , ["Yes", "No"]

I know that is not the correct format but don’t know how to do it.

I Fixed it. 

On the edit screen for the drop-down attribute. 

Items:                                   ["Yes", "No"]

Default:                                 Selecteditem.Email_Opted_Out
