Hi All,
Would there be an option to patch a collection column values to a SharePoint list as a single row, instead of individual rows per collection row. Let's say I have collection with 3 records they are addtasks and my SharePoint list contain task columns. like task1 , task2,task3, these 3 are lookup columns in sharepoint list. i need to map those addtasks collection into these list how to implement it please guide me.
Hello @MAnil850071
The function you will need for this is Concat. For Example, if you have a collection named colSP and it has 3 records, as you said Task1, Task2, Task3, and these values are stored in a column named TaskName
You can use Concat like this to store the values above as "Task1,Task2,Task3"Concat(colSP, TaskName,",")
However, if you have multiple columns, it might be best that you learn JSON.
JSON allows you to store data structure as a string in SharePoint:

You need to store json data of collection in Text Format and store in multilinetext column.
when you get the data you need to parse it using ParseJson(experimental Feature) or use Split function to Split.
Example :
As shown in pic i took a collection with Title and currency column converted into format similar to Json.
Set(varJson,Concat(collection,"{"&Char(34)&"Title"&Char(34)&":"&Char(34)&""&ThisRecord.Title&""&Char(34)&","&Char(34)&"Currency"&Char(34)&":"&Char(34)&""&ThisRecord.Currency&""&Char(34)&"}",","));
Set(varJson,"[
"&varJson&"
]");
Patch(Test,First(Test),{Json:varJson})
When retrieving data:
ForAll( Table(ParseJSON(First(Test).Json)), { Title: Text(ThisRecord.Value.Title), Currency: Text(ThisRecord.Value.Currency) } )
instead of parse json if you want to use concat seperator as any other symbol like ; it will help you to split rows

Hi thanks for your response i implemented
ForAll(colselectedRows,Patch('Start/Ending',Defaults('Start/Ending'),{Task1:{'Id':colselectedRows[@ID],
'Value':colselectedRows[@Name]},Task2:{'Id':colselectedRows[@ID],
'Value':colselectedRows[@Name]},Task3:{'Id':colselectedRows[@ID],
'Value':colselectedRows[@Name]}}));
In this code I can getting records but it's creating multiple records in SharePoint list tell me if anything I need to change here
above code creates a record for each item in colselectedRows:
if colselectedRows has 4 items it will create 4 items in SharePoint
Yes exactly but here I need share single record in SharePoint how do I achieve it please tell me
One solution is above Json solution i expained.
if its 3 task only.
add another column to collection lets say iteration: 1, 2 , 3
use that for look up formula ex: Task1: lookup(collection,iteration:1)

Above code I'm getting 3 records only sorry to say I'm not much aware about json function can you please explain more detailed.
you can use the below suggestion
