Screen2's gallery to contain results based on Screen1's search box

Hi all! I always appreciate the community's support and guidance.

My Goal: Have Screen2 display gallery results based on whether or not the user used the search box feature on Screen1. 

My app has two screens -

                Screen1 (“PropertySiteScreen”) contains a gallery wired to List1.

                                I have an icon on the screen named Icon_PropertyTeam that is storing a variable for "Building Name" when clicked, then navigates to Screen2.

                *All actions on Screen1 are working properly.

                Screen2 (“PropertyTeamScreen”) contains a gallery wired to List2 that consists of a "Property" column, which corresponds to "Building Name" from List1.

                What I want to happen is that if a user utilizes the Search Bar (SearchBox) from Screen1, then selects that Icon_PropertyTeam to move to the next screen, I should see the results in Screen2's gallery. With this current code, I do not see any results.

Set(varProperty, ThisItem.Title);Navigate(PropertyTeamScreen)

                Screen2's gallery code:

Search(Filter(PropertyMapEmplList, IsBlank(SearchBox.Text),Property = varProperty))

                **Everything worked before I added the search bar on Screen1, so I imagine I need to reference SearchBox results on Screen2’s gallery in some way but I’m not sure the syntax or how to do so.

                Thoughts?

Unfortunately the controls in a screen are scoped to the screen. You're going to have to use a global variable to store the value before navigating away to the next screen.

Try this formula on screen 2 gallery Filter(PropertyMapEmplList, !IsBlank(SearchBox.Text) && varProperty in Property) and please tell me if theres no text in the search text input. do you want the second gallery to display unfiltered items? or no item? Thanks

Almost perfect. Your code works if I DO use the search bar. but if I do NOT use the search bar, I do not get any results

Okay so now what we are gonna so is were gonna set this condition in a variable and use that in our page2's gallery.

On page1. go to the onSelect property of the button youre using to navigate to the next screen. type this formula:

Set(
varDataSource,
If(
IsBlank(varProperty),
PropertyMapEmplList,
Filter(PropertyMapEmplList,varProperty in Property)
)
)

in the page2's gallery's datasource add the variable varDataSource 

try this and let me know

Solution2:
ALSO I guess you can use this below one directly on the gallery's datasource,

Search(PropertyMapEmplList, varProperty, "Property")

Replace "Property" with the logical name your your property column.

As im not sure of the exact requirement. I'll suggest follow the below one its pretty straight.

Yes, the 2nd suggestion worked perfectly! I used this on Screen2's Gallery Items property:

Search(PropertyMapEmplList, varProperty, "field_6")
