Hi all,
I am trying to create a business process flow in which I would like to create 5-6 stages and in some of the stages I would like to use different entities.
However the dropdown for selecting a an entitiy is not working, it only allows me to select the entity based on which i created this flow (see attached screenshot).
I have already created other entities on the back-end and also see them in my entity list and solution explorer (Entity A and B are part of the solution).
I read that is possible to sue multiple entities within one business process flow, anyone any idea?

Do you mean that you could not choose other entities except the entity based on which you created this flow when creating Business process flow?
I've made a similar test but not met the same problem like your description.
I could choose other entities including the entity based on which I created this flow.
Please check these points:
1/ If you don’t find the entity you want, make sure the entity has the Business process flows (fields will be created) option set in the entity definition. You cannot change this after you save the process.
2/have enough permission on these entities(set this permission in Select the Business Process Flows tab, and then assign appropriate privileges on the business process flow for a security role)
3/You can define business process flows only for those entities that support them. You also need to be aware of the limits for the number of processes, stages, and steps that can be added.

Thank you for your clear answer, appreciate it, still have a few questions.

With regards to point 1, I can not find any setting in the properties of the entity in which this could be done. Could you please help me out by pointing where and how this setting can be found.
For the settings I can see the settings for Entity A and B seem to be the same, but I do not see any option related to business process flows.

With regards to point 2, when I go to the BPF tab I see several entitites but not the ones I just created, that might be because the setting you mentioned at point 1 is still incorrect?
However I do so several other entitites, which do not appear in the entity dropdown and for which I can change the permission level to be equal to the 'example_entity' one, see screenshot.

I faced the same issue, when I created it from the Solution/process/new and chose Business Process. From there, only allowed me to work with the main entity, no other entities to choose.
Solution: Create the business process directly from Power Automate platform, section My Flow, click new. Then you add it to the solution.

I have the same problem. My bpf only has one entity. All entities that I create has not the Business process flows (fields will be created) option set in the entity definition.
