Good Day!

asking for help about how to send automatic email without pressing any button to trigger it.?

scenario :

I have Gallery and Label1.Text = Datepicker.SelectedDate

what I'm trying to do is when the date from Due Date is Equal (=) to Date in Datepicker Send Automatic Email.

@DHAGZ ,

You have to trigger it from somewhere - maybe OnSelect of the Gallery as you need to select a matching item in there anyway.

If you want this to happen whether or not the app is open I would recommend doing this in powerautomate and not relying on a person to do it. But if you need it in app check out warrens suggestion for sure, or @WarrenBelz  would a forall on the onselect of the datepicker work?

Hi @DHAGZ ,

Assume gallery date and on date change event in datepicker has the same date and you've also sent emails.

but for every date change and gallery date being the same it would keep sending emails multiple times would that be fine with you?

@TheRobRush  has the best placement for sending mails that would be Power Automate and you can run a schedule based or trigger which would periodically run and based on date filter criteria it would send out mails.

It seems everyone wants to help here - please tag whoever you want to respond to this is not a difficult issue if you clarify a bit more exactly what you want sent in the email and when.

You referred to a gallery and date picker in your post, so I assumed you wanted it triggered from Power Apps when the relevant item was changed. This can be either the gallery selection (you did not say that the items would always be identical) or the date picker.

My client wants me to make an auto Send Email for every Due Date reached.

And I have no idea on how to execute this function. The only I know is use a Button to trigger to able Send Email.

Here is the below Power Automate you can get started and in SharePoint Filter query here I tried as below.

Once items you've overdue items in hand either you can send mail to the individual take owner as shown below pic are create a table of overdue tasks and send mail to respective recipient 

fromDate ge concat(string(formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-dd')),'T00:00:00.0000000Z')
