Send email based on two criteria

Good day,

I am attempting to send an email when submitting a form in my power app based on two criteria.   The code below works for the one criteria (If DateValue8) is not blank.

I also want to verify if a dropdown field (DataCardValue13) has "Tax" selected.  If both of these two criteria are met, I want the email to be sent.  I came up with bottom code but to no avail.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That worked perfectly, thank you.  I have a similar page where I only have the one criteria and I have this code.  When Tax is selected, the email is not sent.

Any reason why the email would not be sent with this code? There are no errors in code.  Thank you.

Hi @powelma ,

Where the Formula you have put in? Do you put it in the Button and Click it to Send an Email?

If you want to send Email after Choose Tax please put it into OnChange of DataCardValue15.

OR Please try this to see if the SendEmailV2 function work or not.

The Code is in "OnSuccess"

DataCardValue15 is a drop down (same as DataCardValue13) in the form where there are multiple items listed. Tax is one of the items.  If "Tax" is selected from the drop down, I want the email to be sent.  If anything else is selected in the drop down then I do not want email to go out.  Hope this helps.  

I basically want to use the same logic as before but only use the one criteria and not worry about Datavalue8 not being blank

If it is OnSuccess it will work after you submitted the whole Form Successfully.

And in this Condition, it still not work?

It is Onsuccess and form is submitted successfully.  Tax is selected from dropdown. No email is sent

I decided to use the same logic as the first one and selected a different field that is never blank.  The first two line sof code is 

If(
!IsBlank (DateValue10_1) && DataCardValue15.Selected.Value = "Tax",

By doing this, the code worked.  Thank you for your assistance
