SharePoint form customized using PowerApps field visibility based on a condition (if current user = user in people picker field ) not working for some users

I have a customized SharePoint form where a field is suppose to be visible only if the current user= a user in a people picker field 

on Visible i have the following formula

If(SharePointIntegration.Selected.'Specialist Name'.Email= User().Email ,true,false) 

But when testing it , it is working for some users and not working for others. Only some users who should have seen the field cant currently see it in the form.

You might need to test it as If(User().Email in SomeListWithEmails ,true,false)

I'd like to know what is SharePointIntegration.Selected.'Specialist Name'.Email returning String/Record/Table

in case SharePointIntegration is a select field or gallery then the test is only being made with the selected item that could explain the weird behavior

you can user the list your are setting in the SharePointIntegration to test If(User(0.Email in SomeListWithEmails, true, false)

The form is a customized SharePoint form. User would open the detail form and edit , when a user edit the form I am trying to compare the user's email in the specialist field with the currently use'r email. The data type is text for both.  Is that the information you wanted ?

The formula throws no error.

My guess is SharePointIntegration.Selected is returning one object but SharePointIntegration.Allitems/the actual list would return you a list

and you could do 

If(User().Email in SharePointIntegration.Allitems.'Specialist Name'.Email,true,false)

@ilton Right , it is returning one object and the "AP Specialist Name" is a record in that object. For each item the AP Specialist is different, and I am trying to make the field visible if only the user is an AP specialist for that item, a user might be AP Specialist in other items but not the current

record . How would the SharePointIntegration.Allitems help in this case ?

Hi @Yemata 

If you are getting intermittent results from your formula, I have found two reasons for this.  First and most common is a delegation issue if you have more than the 2k items in your list.  The other is a space before or after the item in the user address.  You can use the Trim() function to test is this is the problem.  You can test if this is the case by trimming both sides of the equation.

If(Trim(SharePointIntegration.Selected.'Specialist Name'.Email)= Trim(User().Email) ,true,false)

The list have few test items , I will try the Trim() function if there are any space issues in the email addresses and let you know if that resolves it.

Tired If(Trim(SharePointIntegration.Selected.'AP Specialist Name'.Email)= Trim(User().Email) ,true,false) but it did not solve the issue 😞 

Any other idea ?
