Shareable Data Tables

Hello, I'm fairly new to using power apps and love almost everything about it. Ive watch many videos and have spent weeks making apps, updating them because Id learn a new useful thing to add to previous projects. Where Im really running into issues is that these applications work for me, but only me. Any attempt of sharing gives that person a "you do not have permissions" notification. Due to my email being a company one, I cannot create an excel table that IS sharable. Even when sharing with specific coworkers, they get the same notification from earlier. If I upload a table to powerapps and us it, the gallery will then load, but will be completely blank. Sharepoint was the next option but I do not have access to create or edit there. Are there alternative options for creating a table that others can actually view using power apps? (I currently do not have the fault codes, but im confident it would tell me that I need to make the data sharable.... Which I can't)

Pretty much every option you mentioned could be used, you just need to make sure the storage location is accessible to the folks you are sharing with.  For example, an Excel file could be within a SharePoint document library but the file needs to be shared (contribute permission) with them.  It could also be in OneDrive, but needs to be shared so they can edit the document.  I've never built an app using an Excel file, so I'll take your word that it works for updates.  You could also use a SharePoint list but it is a good approach to have a SharePoint portal that is dedicated to applications (or a portal per application depending on the complexity of the app).  Getting your own SharePoint portal that you manage frees up your options.  You could also use Dataverse tables if you have access to them. Microsoft Teams is built on SharePoint, so those SharePoint lists work great for sharing with people who already access that Team.  It sounds like your primary issue is permissions.  Also, don't forget to share the actual application with them so they can view the app.  Both the app and data source need to be shared.  I hope that helps!

sorry for the late response. That is actually a great idea as I have not tried changing the permissions themselves to edit. if it ends up working, I will then have a new issue. Being that I was hoping to have a table that my coworkers would be able to take data from to create a new item for a seperate table. That way nobody can go in and edit the original. I suppose I can have a backup for that and fix it should I need to. Thank you trstrean! Ill keep you updated when I try it and will accept your sulution until then.

If you don't need folks to edit the underlying data, you can just set the permissions to match that use case.  Read access for example, should suffice.  Most cloud options include versioning to roll back changes if that works.
