Some user theme is overiding the PowerApp app menu setting

By default the Powerapp has purple heading, but for some user when loading Powerapp, it overrides the default heading and cause missing menu in the center. Any idea?  thanks

Hi @cordycep 

The 'Theme' setting controls the appearance of the banner that appears at the top.

However, that should not cause items to be missing in the app. Do you have multiple versions of the same app in different environments? If so, is the user connecting to the correct environment?

     The only environment I know is the cloud when I published it and it only has one link .  The problem occurs for some user that connects to the Powerapp for the first time. And they dont have access to Admin central to change the themes.   

   When accessing the Powerapp site  for users that have this issue, I can see the original purple theme heading for about milli second, then get override with Mountain theme.  Also,  in the Powerapp app setting I always used the purple theme heading and that has never changed.

the menu in the middle has 2 containers, either they are a User or Admin/User.  It works fine for all  users that can see the Purple theme.

Then Onstart controls which containers  menu (User or Admin) to display, so I would assume Onstart did not run after it finds the User from outlook.

It might be worth posting your OnStart formula.

It might be the case that your code doesn't find the user from Outlook which could explain why the 2 containers don't appear.

"Analysts" is the sharepoint list  -so is it possible that if they dont have access to the list, it wont display the center menu?

I suspest the problem is the 2 users I have problem with dont have access to the sharepoint LIST since I have confirmed that they dont have permission. SO will ask admin to add them.
