Submit multiple forms to the same datasource

In my app I have a form that consists of 3 different forms based on the same datasource.

I've chose that because of the layout and I feel that is better but when I use the submit form function it seems that only 1 out of 3 forms is being submitted

I've read that submitforms for multiple forms doesn't work but is that still true or is there anyway around that ?

My current formula is:

SubmitForm(FormAdres_2);;
SubmitForm(FormLocatie_2);;
SubmitForm(FormGBOGegevens_1)

Having 3 forms will create 3 items... Why?

If you want that you can pay with visible and invisible...

But if you want to submit 3 forms, that formula should be correct. That will create 3 items.

@Nogueira1306 I'm not sure, I just feel that when I use different Containers with different Fields per Container it gives me more flexibility to display the data. 

It is the same datasource which is an SP list but can 3 different forms update the same row in a sharepoint list ?

Do you want to update a record by 3 forms in same time? If so ,I suggest you try this formula:

Patch(
  YourDatasource;
  TheRecordYouWantToUpdate;
  FormAdres_2.Updates;
  FormLocatie_2.Updates;
  FormGBPGefenens_1.Updates
)

If you want to go through this route, then the best thing is to use the OnSuccess property of the forms to update the same item.

OnSelect of Button:

Submit(Form1)

OnSuccess of Form1

Patch(
     YourDataSource,
     {ID: Self.LastSubmit().ID}, //Last submitted record
     Form2.Updates,
     Form3.Updates
)

I now use a Save Icon with this formula to patch the 3 forms back to SP but why should I use the OnSuccess button. What are the benefits of doing it that way ? (just curieus ;))

The only difference from your solution is that the OnSuccess property allows you to use Submit() on the first form and then you can respond to the successful submit event to patch the items with the updates from the other forms.

Your solution does have the advantage to updating the item in one action.

Yes. Yours will make just one request to SharePoint

Isn't 1 request to update 3 forms always better then 3 separate actions to update a form ?
