Tab command in login box

Hello, i would like to know ho insert a authomatic tab in a box when it is filled out to move to other box.

i have a login form and i need to have this command to move from username box to password box after the username box is filled out.

Very good - needed to check before suggesting anything!

So, the thing is, the text input will not allow "selecting" out of it until it has lost its focus and entry.  And to complicate things a little more, you can't really select a control in order to set its focus and entry like that in PowerApps.  When you select a control, it really serves to produce the OnSelect action of that control.

SO...the only real option is to either deal with the tab or consider providing a "keypad" screen, to tap on digits to enter their ID, then another keypad to enter their password.  This would skip the keyboard completely for entry and would be a little more "kiosk-like" as well.

Your solution is interesting, but doesn’t resolve my problem. I search an alter ego of navigate function, but in the same screen, not in different screens.

So what exactly is the problem then that you are having?  From your post, you are trying to automatically tab and select another textinput control in your screen.  This is not possible in PowerApps.  So, that is off the table.  The next thing to do is find an alternate solution.  

If you use a separate navigate, this is not an issue to have another screen.  But you can still do it all on the same screen.

Here is a sample Kiosk-like app with this concept in action.  The app allows certain admins to enter admin tasks in the app.  They must enter their admin code and password to enter the admin screen.  I captured this and needed to use the mouse to click on items, but in normal mode, this is running on a tablet and there is no mouse or keyboard.

Also, I stand corrected as I forgot about the SetFocus function.

If you want to keep with the textbox concept for what you are doing, you can put a toggle on your screen (non-visible) and set the Default property to Len(yourUserNameTextInput.Text)=4 and the OnCheck action to : SetFocus(yourPasswordTextInputControl)

This would give you the immediate jump from the user input to the password once it reaches 4 characters in length.
