Task list on a bulletin board.

Hello, I'm using PowerApps to develop a gallery with task lists. I added a checkbox with the name "Task", a Separator3, and a Title3. My idea is that when the checkbox is marked, it will strike through the text and move it to the last position. It should also capture the user who clicked the checkbox, and at the end, have a total count of how many users clicked the checkbox. Additionally, I need to make it so that when the dueDate defined for that task in the SharePoint database is reached, it is no longer displayed in PowerApps. Hi @Anonymous ,

I'm not sure if you have a column that tracks the completion of the Task as completed or not. 

If yes, link that to the checkbox.

Below are the steps you need to achieve this.

Step1: As you link the checkbox to that column which holds 'Completed' or 'Pending'. 

//For Default property -> link if Column value is completed then true else false

Step2: Sort your Gallery items as per this Column based on pending items first then Completed

SortByColumns(
  <datasource>,
  (column-name),
  Descending
)

Step 3: When you select the checkbox, update the record as completed or pending accordingly in SP list.

Step 4: For your text control,

//Strikethrough property on label control
If(fieldname = "Completed", true, false)

//or, if boolean column

If(fieldname, true, false)

//or
If(Checkbox1.Value, true, false)

Hope this gives any idea what needs to be implemented to achieve your idea.

i would like to make this only at the powerapps, showing to each user who is logged not modifying anything in sharepoint

You can try the things that I've mentioned with adding filters on your list based on Current Logged-in User by using formula 

User().Email

and how should i refactor the gallery sort ? other thing that i forgot to mention is not the user who created the task that will be used as parameter an admin that will display all tasks to the workers

Your gallery will be,

SortByColumns(
  Filter(
    <datasource>,
    User = User().Email
  ),
  (column-name),
  Descending
)

Hi @Anonymous ,

In that case, you can use dropdown with list of Users. 

then filter data as per data selected in dropdown. 

You can create the structure and later I can guide you in the formula
