Tenant issue with PowerBI integration app

Folks,

After many attempts to connect PowerBI to an existing app and failing (never made the connection successfully), I gave up and created a new one within PBI.

When opening the app, everything is fine the first time. When saving (this has happened twice) everything seems to fail upon reloading the app for edit. You'll see in the attached images that the loaded app has no screens or content - and none of the interface functions. You can change tabs on the ribbon, but the buttons within the ribbon don't work. Also, you'll notice in the second image that it's as if the file hasn't been opened, as there is no save, save as or anything else related to an open app in the menu. If I click open again, it won't ever load the app list. I have to go back to make.powerapps.com and start over. 

I've imported this app into another tenant and everything works fine. Wondering if anyone has encountered? Any advice?

I've gone into some different apps of mine in Power BI reports. I've not experienced this and would like to replicate if you can share some more specific steps.

@Mr-Dang-MSFT  this started by not being able to open existing apps via PowerBI embedded integration. We'd add an app, associate the filter data and the last step is to open the app by clicking the link to do so within the tile so the integration element transfers into the app. Last step is to save but we couldn't get that far on existing apps. The interface for PowerApps would open, load for a bit, then redirect to the PowerApps us.create.powerapps.com page instead of successfully open the app.

If we then opened the app from the app list, there would be no PowerBI integration in the app, it failed to pass it into the existing app. So, we created a new one several times. Confirmed the integration element was in place and saved so I could paste existing app infrastructure into the empty shell. The problem - these new apps appear to keep corrupting somehow. I don't know how to reproduce, as it seems to be something specific to our tenant. When we export these apps they function in other tenants.

All that to say, if we are able to figure out what's up with associating PowerBI Integration with existing apps, I'm good 🙂

Workflow and issue attached when attaching to existing app:

PBI1 - Choose App

PBI2 - Chose my app

PBI3 - Go to PowerApps Studio

PBI4 - Loading the specific app with the link structure to open in edit mode and pass the integration

PBI5 - PowerApps studio homepage has opened (with the old landing page, not make.powerapps.com but us.create...)

PBI6 - You'll see there is no integration element passed. The app is now open in PowerBI with the filters associated within the dashboard - but it has not passed to the app itself so it doesn't work
