Text right of character

I am writing a Power App to book desks / breakout areas. Generally working well but have 1 odd error

For track and trace purposes, I want to be able to report on location, floor, resource booked (desk or breakout name) and dates in separate columns in an SP list. I have an SP list for all London Breakout Areas, another one for London desks, another one for Newcastle Breakout areas etc 

Example of two breakout areas (there are others, but not needed for example)

• London - Breakout Area - 3rd Floor Tower
• London - Breakout Area - 5th Floor

The screen to book a Breakout Area in London has a gallery showing available Breakout areas. The OnCheck box has this formula in

(as I have separate SP Lists and screens for different sites I can cheat and set the selectedSite and selectedResource as text and not worry about extracting them from the SP List name

User then goes through a couple more screens and on the Confirmation screen, the BOOK button contains this code (among other things):

Idea is that the booking gets Patched into Reservations SP list. This works fine apart from the Floor which is only displaying the last 4 characters of the breakout areas

• London - Breakout Area - 3rd Floor Tower = ower
• London - Breakout Area - 5th Floor = loor

I want all of the text right of the last '- ' for floor, not sure why only 4 characters as have not specified number of characters (cannot as will vary) so just want ALL text right of it

What am I doing wrong?

You need

Right(
   selectedResource.Name,
   Len(selectedResource.Name) - 
   Find("- ",selectedResource.Name)-1
)

I think the -1 is needed as you have two characters in your find text.

Hi @JBMac 

As an alternative, you could also consider splitting your input string by the "-" character and picking up the last item.

Here's the line of code that you would modify.

Set(selectedFloor,
    Last(Split(selectedResource.Name, "-")).Result
)
