Hi @StalinPonnusamy , 

Per our discussion yesterday and implementing some of the code you and I worked on for update fields that write back to person/group columns in SP (I will post example source code at bottom), I began to receive this error message: The requested operation is invalid. I had it working perfectly for about 4 test submissions before the problem arose. 

Would you know based on the code we wrote why this message would randomly begin to present itself? It doesn't highlight a certain datacard as being improper, so I am quite lost on which one of the updates is causing the problem. I have looked around at other posts similar to this issue and wasn't able to find a solution for my situation based on theirs. 

Sample code we wrote for 4 data cards:

We may need to add a null or blank check to make sure data exists.

Thank you for the quick reply! This seemed to have fixed my problem as I have implemented the code and the submissions have began to successfully go through. 

There is only one last issue I see on the form regarding the code we have implemented yesterday. I am able to write back to the SharePoint column for my Sponsor Person column, but when I open the form submitted in edit mode to view the selected result is not showing and there is just a blank value shown. I will post below my update, Item, and Default Selected Items syntax.

With that piece of code the result stayed the same and the sponsor was blank when visited in edit mode.
