Trying to use iFrames to view and interact with a already existing Microsoft Form.

I am trying to have a dedicated screen on my PowerApps app that users will be able to view and interact with an already created Microsoft Forms. I have found that iFrames can be used to view websites in the app but it seems to open an external tab instead of remaining in the app.

Preferably, I would like the users to be able to view, interact and submit the Microsoft Form without leaving the app. If you have any other suggestions that will be very helpful!

Where are you trying to add this, canvas app or model driven app?

For canvas app, this is not available, you might need to install a separate PCF control.

For model driven app, it seems Microsoft Forms doesn't support filling up inside the form. I suggest you use a web resource to achieve this.

Thanks for the reply! I am using a canvas app I believe. The link you sent me doesn't seem to work; I am not able to import the solution properly. Is there a tutorial that I could use. Apologies this is my first time using PowerApps ever.

If you cannot see the component in your canvas app, make sure to enable the component framework in environment settings of the power platform admin center.

Navigate to Power Platform Admin Center.

Go to the Environments-> Select your environment -> Settings->Product->Features -> Power Apps component framework for canvas apps.

Thanks for the reply! Would the iFrame component allow the user to interact and view the Microsoft Form from within the app? Because that would be a dealbreaker if the user had to leave the app to submit the form.

Yes the iframe is interactable. You can interact with the source that you have defined in your iframe component.

1) By source that I have defined in the iframe component, do you mean a url link?

2) Can I just follow April Dunnam's video wholesale and use that Github link to achieve my desired result? Because I need to get technical permission to download the component from my internship company and I need an example of the component to show them.

1. yes I mean the URL defined in the src property of the control.

2. You can follow the video after enabling the componenet framwork for canvas apps in power platform admin center.
