Unable to Get the Date Value of a date picker to save it in a Sharepoint list

On Save Button of a repeating table (using Gallery with a datasource: Collection), 

What should be the syntax so that datepicker will be a DATE value instead of text because I am getting error saving the collection to sharepoint list

SAVE BUTTON ON_SELECT

FORM1 ON_SUCESS

ERROR

The Type of this argument 'Date_Paid' does not match the expected type 'Date'

Affects Date_Paid and Installment_Due_date

I have tried to use DateValue but I get error that it has invalid arguments

DateValue(DatePicker_InstallmentDate.SelectedDate)

I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned.

Does the Installment_Due_date column and Date_Paid column in your sharepoint list are Date type column?

I have created a Installment_Due_date column with a Date type in my sharepoint ListB, And I could create the app to save the date to the sharepoint ListB as below:

Please check if the Installment_Due_date column and Date_Paid column in your sharepoint list are Date type column on your side.

yes, I can confirm it is Date and Time.

*UPDATE*

I was able to save the details on my sharepoint list

I have created a new Collection: MyInstallmentCollection and set the value of InstallmentDueDate and InstallmentDatePaid  to Now()

ClearCollect(MyInstallmentCollection, {InstallmentDueDate: Now(), LineCost: 0, InstallmentDatePaid: Now(), InstallmentAmountPaid: 0 }); 

but the problem now is  that the required value for InstallmentDatePaid should be blank. 

I cant seem to set it to "" as this is being detected as a text.

How do we set that default value to blank?

For the Mean time I have created a new not visible date picker  (InstallmentDatePaid: DatePicker1.SelectedDate)

any  other better option?
