Uninstall a managed solution or delete entities from the managed solution that I created using data verse.

Hello Everyone,

I'm stuck at a point where I had to delete a managed solution I exported to QA environment. Now I'm stuck with the app, flow and tables that I cannot edit, I wanted to delete the solution and couldn't let me delete. I wanted to export another package as unmanaged one but it won't let me.

I would like to have this application in QA and not sure how can I get this fixed. Can anyone please help me out here. I'm very new to data verse, that's where I've created my entities and now I cannot delete them even.

Hi @KrishR - you will need to delete any dependencies in the Solution layer. This will include all flows, business rules, tables etc. Open the solution, and then select Show dependencies to see what those dependencies are.

Thanks for the quick response. I have couple of tables I need to delete but I don't see the delete button enabled on it. They were inside the same managed solution that I exported and wanted to delete.

Can you please help me on how can I get rid of those tables?

The delete button being disabled is by design.

To remove the table you will need to delete the managed solution. Deleting the managed solution will uninstall the Solution as well as permanently remove any components/objects inside it from your environment.

Given you cannot delete the Solution, it is virtually certain that the components within that Solution (such as tables, apps, flows) have a relationship with other components outside of the Solution.

As mentioned already, if you click on the Solution and then click Show dependencies, you should be to redirected to the Dependencies page which will provide a list of all objects which use the Solution.

If you take a screenshot of that page I can provide more support.
