Unknown error on Attachment datacard

I have a Power Apps form linked to a Sharepoint list, it was working fine and now suddenly (I think perhaps since refreshing the data) getting an “unknown error” on a DataCard.

Strangely, the “Attachments” column (which is a default Sharepoint column) is not included in the List Settings in Sharepoint.

I have tried removing the DataCard in Power Apps and re-adding the field and noticed that it doesn’t contain the paperclip icon next to the “Attachments” field name

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry nothing to add of use just me say I get the same error

I noticed this behaviour Last night , I thought it was a programming error made by myself while building an app ,Time to pause the digging for fat finger typing and wait on the smart people to come back with either "nothing wrong with power apps"( back to the digging)  or "we have bug folks" (hang tight while its fixed)

I have a few screens where i have attachment controls embedded in forms and some that i extracted just the Control to use with Power Automate to up load files .its only the Form embedded one causing the problem 

With a minimal testing changing the default on the data card to this has  seemed to cure the problem

sorry I`m not smart enough to know why my fix is working for me ,I just noticed it was the default property of the control that was throwing the red x is it possible a different setting of the data card that is affecting you ?

I ran into the same issue yesterday as well. Seems like something in the authoring version (3.23032.12) is causing this bug. I reverted to the previous authoring version (3.23031.19) and everything seems to be working properly now.

Same problem here. Must be an issue from Microsoft's side as changed nothing on the app itself. Keeping my fingers crossed they'll sort this in short order.

The following fix worked for me: Go to the default for the datacard. Delete the default out and type out your prior default again. So in my case "ThisItem.Attachments".

Now it's back to working as intended without an error. Still something that worries me and would be interested to hear what someone from Microsoft has to say about this.

Hi, Community.

Something "blobmanager" seems to affect the unknown parse error, on the DataCard...

It means ,"It wonder if the busy SharePoint team added a blobmanager for blob traffic control, without any notice" 🙂

"blobmanager" or something seems to affect the unknown parse error, on the DataCard.
but,it also have a Lookup from an ".Attachment" in SharePoint, directly 🙂
