Uploading Images from Local Collection to Sharepoint

So I have a data collection app and part of the fieldwork is to take several pictures of the process. What I'm trying to do is set up an image control that allows users to take pictures with the tablet and store them in a local collection. At the end of the night when the tablet is connected to the internet, I want the user to be able to patch all the pictures into a SharePoint list. Ideally, it would go into a SharePoint list but if there is another data source that works better, I'm open to other suggestions. Thank you!!

@powerappsuser17 Ideally SharePoint is meant for storing Files.. there are other options too like Azure Blob Storage which you can leverage, however deciding which storage solution to use, just based on the fact works better, won't be sufficient, need a proper business case. Each solution has pros & cons and cost too.. but then complexity increases to when maintaining relationships between data and images..

Thank you for the response. The business case is as stated above. There's a team of users that will collect data that involves collecting pictures. Each picture needs to be tagged with a sample ID and timestamp. They can all end up in some type of storage like a drop box or one drive folder that allows me to filter by the sampleID or date.

This is not an easy or straight-forward process, but certainly possible. Firstly, you need to read this document, which also has some helpful examples. Essentially, you need to use SaveData to save your collection locally (do this at each photo addition as it replaces the data already there) and the LoadData to get it back, however you will need Power Automate to either send as attachments or store the images in a SharePoint Library.
