Using a table to select local media for a gallery

Hi all, 

Wasn't sure if this would belong in common data services so ill put it here, hopefully someone can help with my issue:

In my app, i had a gallery and a table, both linked to a one drive excel doc.

The one drive excel doc contained columns with text for the table, and image URLs related to the records in each row. 

The image URL column (in the form: './Assets/123 test1.png') linked to a sub folder directly below the excel document which contained an image for each row of the excel doc (approx 600 images/records). This worked in a gallery to show images based on which record of the table was selected. I was attempting to make this static, using a method described here: (), however, i cannot get it to work as described, and i wonder if something has changed since 2016 when it was posted. The gallery image slot does not display an error, but also will not display any images. I will also attach some screenshots showing my issues. 

Note, i tried removing spaces from some of the filenames as a test and was unable to get that to work as well, which is why the table contains some with and some without spaces. I also changed the gallerys first text field to display the image url that is currently selected.

How did you get these Image URL?

If you want to reference image from Excel, the ImageURL column should be set as Image type, just add "[image]" behind the column name.

If this doesn't work, please ensure the image files have been saved in the OneDrive folder and ImageURL should refer to the image file path in One Drive folder.  See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/add-images-pictures-audio-video#add-images-from-the-cloud-to-your-app .

Hello @v-siky-msft ,

Thank you for your reply, but I believe you misunderstand my question. I had previously hosted the pictured in oneDrive, which did work, but required i share the one drive with anyone i also wanted to share the app with. I would prefer to only have to share the app, so i added all of the images to the 'media' section/folder of the powerapp builder. That is why i use that URL, which i got from the thread i linked in my original posting.

OK, you mean the image URL is from the image uploaded from Media section?

But on my side, the URL of uploaded images are shown as follows:

Could you share the steps about how do you get your ImageURL?

Hi again,

Thank you for your follow up. I was using those URL from the previously mentioned community post, but i assume they have since changed, as once i figured out how to check, mine were more similar to the one you provided, and worked when i re uploaded the table with the updates. I will mark your post as the solution as it did contain the correct path, and also reminded me to check my own path.
