Using the Results of a Drop Down in a Button

Hello everyone. I'm building a Power App that functions like a digital form where users can select a room they want for a meeting (from a Drop Down), then upon selecting the "Submit" Button, Power Automate will run a flow emailing that completed form to the user.

When a user selects the Drop Down, it will display 3 options. When the user selects one of those options, it should be saved to a variable that can be referenced later. Then, a user will select the "Submit" Button which will generate a PDF of the Power App while saving the title as "Date of Meeting_Form Title_Title of Meeting_Drop Down Value.pdf". And this should be saved as a PDF, so I need to include that at the end of the title. The value of the Drop Down needs to be saved and used when naming the document but I can't get it to. Below is the Power Fx I'm using to save the value of the Drop Down as a variable, but I can't get it to be referenced in the Power Fx for the "Submit" Button. How can I format the second line (below) of Power Fx to fulfill the requirements above. I've spent days doing my own research to no avail so only helpful comments here please. Help!

Power Fx of the Drop Down: Set(Preferred, 'Dropdown_Preferred Room'.Selected.Value)
Power Fx of the "Submit" Button: SaveasPDF.Run({file:{name:"FormTitle.pdf",contentBytes: PDF('Screen1',{ExpandContainers:true})}})

"SaveasPDF" is the title of the flow I integrated into the Power App. Thanks!

I will assume that the first Fx line is in the OnChange property of the DropDown. You need to pass that info to the Flow. In the Flow you need to have "Ask in PowerApps" for the title of the PDF. Then in your Submit button you will need to build the Title. You could use Concat() or just "&" between your variables. 

So prior to your call to the Flow

Set(PDFName, DatePicked &"_"& FormTitle &"_"& MeetingTitle &"_"& Prefered)

assuming that the other 3 items are variables set to the values you want in the Title.

Then you will pass PDFName to the flow

I had it tied to the OnSelect property. After reading up on both, it would most definitely be intended for the OnChange property.

Below is my flow and I use the PowerApps (V2) trigger for the PDF function of the process. What is the proper input to use here in order to pass the OnChange property from the Drop Down to the flow? Do I add a Text Input? How does that connect to Power Apps and how can I reference that within Power Apps?

For building the Title, how does the "Set(PDFName, DatePicked &...." line play into what I have already? Because the Power Fx line for the "Submit" Button (SaveasPDF.Run({file:{name:"FormTitle.pdf"...), calls the flow. I can't change that by replacing it with the "Set(PDFName..." line. How would I implement the line you mentioned?

Context: I'm building a Power App that functions like a digital form where users can select the room they want for a meeting (Drop Down input), the date they want that meeting (Calendar input), and the title of that meeting (Text input). Upon completion of the form the user then selects the "Submit" Button, Power Automate will then run a flow emailing that completed form to the user with the values mentioned earlier in the title of the mailed PDF document. Below is the information used to accomplish this.

Ensure the "Submit" Button has the following Fx line under the OnSelect property:
SaveasPDF.Run({file:{name:Text(MeetingDate)&"_"&SubjectName&"_"&PreferredRoom,contentBytes:PDF('Screen1',{ExpandContainers:true})}})

- Text(MeetingDate) - You have to change the calendar date to a text value.
- & - You have to use the & sign and not the + sign in this instance.
- SubjectName - This was already a text value for me.
- PreferredRoom - This was the value of the drop down which you have to set to a text value in the actual OnChange property of the drop down (see below).

Ensure the Drop Down OnChange property has the following Fx line:
Set(PreferredRoom, 'DropDownInput'.SelectedText.Value)

The SelectedText.Value is the line that converts the drop down value into a text value so that it can be interpreted in the first line above.
