Viewing images from an app in a SharePoint folder

Hi there,

I have an image control on an app that engages with the phone camera when selected.  It allows the user to take a picture and save it with the record.  The image reference is recorded in the data source, (Excel file), and the image itself is posted to a SharePoint folder, however I can only see the images in the SharePoint folder that are associated with records I submitted.  One of colleagues has used the app and he can see the images associated with the records he has submitted in the same folder but he cannot see mine.

I have "owner" rights to the SharePoint folder, can anyone tell me what is preventing me from seeing all images stored in the folder?

Yes, I understand what you said.
My problem is when I refer to this name and it gives an error.
In the image you sent JobNumber = Title
In the APP use in Patch programming (List; {Title: JobNumber.text})
But it gives an error, would it be an ERROR? because some fields work and others don't.

Are you Patching to modify an item or Patching to create a new item?

I actually need to take the information that is being input into the APP and play it for the SharePoint LIST

I'm not sure what you mean by "play it for the SharePoint List". The only time you use Patch is if you are going to create a new item on your SharePoint list or modify an existing item on your SharePoint list. The way you do each of those is different. 

If you want to put data in the App and it be on your SharePoint list then you will be creating a new item in which case you would use:

Patch(SPList, Defaults(SPList),{Title:TextInput1.Text, Column2: TextInput2.ext})

If you have an item already on your SharePoint list and want to be able to change the data on it from the app you would use:

Patch(SPList, ThisItem, {Column1: TextInput1.Text, Column2:TextInput2.Text}) <-- this is if you click in a gallery to modify the item

or 

Patch(SPList, LookUp(SPList, Title=varTitle), {Column1: TextInput1.Text, Column2:TextInput2.Text}) <-- this would be if it is not in a gallery

Hi @v-yutliu-msft thanks for your questions and help.  Please see my answers below:

Could you tell me where did you meet this problem, in your sharepoint folder or powerapps app?  Both, I only see the images I have saved in both the sharepoint folder and in the app.

I need to know whether you can not see all the images in sharepoint folder or in your app? I only see the images I have saved in both. I don't see images saved by any other user in the SP folder or the app.

If it happens in your app, could you show me your more settings about your app?  Can you maybe help me with what more information you need on the app?  i am not sure what to provide to you.

I suggest you share your Excel file to your users, make them have permission to this file too. The Excel file is shared with the users, they can write records to it via the up and I see some with image references in the Excel file.
