Hi,

I've been using power apps for a couple of months now and this is the first time that I have encountered this message.

"You are using a dev plan on an app that is not in a developer environment. This is not supported, and the app will stop working on 11/30/2023"

Do anyone have any idea what this means? I am using Power Apps Canvas App with Microsoft Dataverse as the Database and I publish the apps on teams.

Hi, tested this method and indeed found out that using Dataverse Table was causing the issue. To explain.

I created a sample app that has no Dataverse table and no pop up appeared then tried adding a fresh Dataverse table and now the pop up appeared. So, even though I created a new table or use my old table the pop up still appears. In other words, Dataverse was the cause of the pop up.

Don't know if there are changes with the licensing but this is a bit frustrating and had caused me a lot of time. 😤

Now as you mentioned, we do have to move all the data out from Dataverse which is a lot of work and migrating them to sharepoint list.

Wish Microsoft would weigh in here.  I used dataverse on a friend's recommendation, now wishing i'd used sharepoint.

This issue is caused by you have a Power Apps for Office 365 and Power Apps Community and using Dataverse for Teams.

This is a bug for Microsoft, Powerapps with Dataverse for teams always show need Premium license but it is free if you have O365 license.

e.g. 

If you have license：

O365 Lincese： It is fine.

O365 + Power Apps Community(Dev) Linces: It will pop this message. 

O365 + Power Apps Community(Dev) + PerApp Lincese : It is fine.

It's mean when you paid for Power Apps Premium license for per user, and then it's working now?

No need to pay for it you run PowerApps and Dataverse for Teams in Teams channel and no other Premium connector used in your app/flow.

not working... and I also try to make a copy, then pay for 1 premium user to republish the app. but still show me the error message.

Check with a user only have O365 license, if the app works fine with no message, you can ignore it, it is a warning not error.

no message by O365 users, but for Premium user still shown message, and 11/30/2023 stop working???? really can ignore it.

So, I checked with some other users (don't have any dev license) and they're not getting the warning, so perhaps it's safe to ignore...hopefully we get some confirmation before 30th Nov !!!

Mine as well, checked with other users and the pop up doesn't appear. Still worried though on the pop up I am seeing on my screen.
