Hi,

I've been using power apps for a couple of months now and this is the first time that I have encountered this message.

"You are using a dev plan on an app that is not in a developer environment. This is not supported, and the app will stop working on 11/30/2023"

Do anyone have any idea what this means? I am using Power Apps Canvas App with Microsoft Dataverse as the Database and I publish the apps on teams.

My app is still being developed. I had a meeting with two other developers and had to explain this message today. I have no other users on this app and we are all getting the message. I've spent many months on this project.

100% nightmare.
As of today we have found that we have about a majority of our users get the error message and a small handful do not.

Of course, our CIO does see the message......

Still no clear insight into what the source is or how to fix it, no clear pattern in licensing.
We have a mix of E3 and E5 users.
Some in the past have had the PowerApps Developer license ticked off but most have not

Yes us too, and the answer does not indicate any knowledge of if it will stop, i it time to get off powerapps if they do this with no warning?

Yep this is just either lazy programming or price gouging, or both, very very poor

Where is the option for a thumbs down, this is NOT the answer, its a DataVesrse in TEAMS issue, read the part about DataVerse and Teams

Its a Dataverse issue in Teams, you are NOT in Default or DEV in teams, in teams a DataVerse gets created for you, this is an error $MSFT side as if you try move the app OUT of the Teams Env, into a Prod Env, you STILL Install it to a team, that Team still gets its own DataVerse, this is bad as $MSFT are trying to move their teams app Microsoft to unbundle Teams from software suites in Europe • The Register

why do some of our users get the message of termination on Nov 30 and others do not?

I've just seen this message displayued on one of my apps but not another? Both apps are running in the same envionrment and only use SP lists for the data source? I am hoping it's just a bug????

we paid premium license for my account yesterday but send warning message again. (I'm only one developer in our small company), but now, it doesn't appear ... so means only app creator need license?

Haven't read the thread in full, but we are experiencing the same issue all of a sudden.

Have been running this canvas app in our production environment for at least 2 years with the same license. Nothing has changed with the license. We see the message:

You are using a dev plan on an app that is not in a developer environment. This is not supported, and the app will stop working on 11/30/2023

Despite not knowing entirely what a "dev plan" is, I am pretty sure we are not using it in this environment!

Very frustrating that Microsoft is warning us that our app will stop working when we are probably not even doing the thing it says we're doing that will cause it to stop working. It makes us look bad to our users! And if in fact our app will stop working, then why has it worked fine for over 2 years? What changed?

Because we changed absolutely nothing! Big 🖕 to Microsoft for this B.S.
