how to connect data table to a View?

Hello there,

I'm fairly new to Power platform and I have a stupid question here:

I want to show a data table in my app and the column is from two tables, so I created a view to extract the columns from these two tables, see below:

so when I go back to my app,  I specify the data source and select the view I just created, but when I click the 'Edit fields' to add the fields, I can only see the fields in the table, but I want the fields in the new created view, where I can find those fields?

Thank you @JasonLane , for my  case, I use data table, and currently the Item is set as the table and view, like this:

The problem is, where I can edit the field? when I click the 'Edit fields' in the right pane, it only show the fields in the table, but I want to add the column from the View...

If you want to edit the fields in your view and add a new column to your view, you need to go to the View options.

Here's how you can do it:

1. Click on the dropdown menu next to your view name in the top left corner of your screen.

2. Select "Edit view" from the dropdown menu.

3. In the "Fields" section of the view editor, you can add new fields by clicking on the "Add field" button.

4. In the "Add field" dialog box, you can choose the type of field you want to add, such as a formula, a rollup, or a lookup.

5. Once you've added your new field, you can drag and drop it to the position you want it to appear in your view.

6. Finally, click the "Save" button in the top right corner of the screen to save your changes.

Now, you should be able to see the new field in your view and you can edit its contents as needed.

Thank you @JasonLane , but I think you didn't get my question here, let me explain it again:

I have two tables here, table A and B have the relationship on column 'Answer_id'. Now I want to add a data table in my app, and the data table need to show two columns from table A and two columns from table B, so I created a View on table A, this View join table B, so this View contains the two columns I wanted from table A and another two columns from table B. like this:

Now come back to the data table, I just want to show all data from this View, but when I specify the data source and view name in property, I click the 'Edit fields' to select the fields, the problem is, it still only show the fields from table A, I just want to know how to incorporate those columns from table B, as I specified in the View:
