@twister ,

There is something else wrong here - I use that exact syntax on a number of apps and it is pretty simple - you are simply setting a Numeric Variable (varID) to the value of the incoming parameter and then using that to Lookup the matching record in the list. As you are getting no errors, all the code and names are correct - the only thing left is your incoming parameter. Put a label on the screen with varID and see if it is populated when you open the app.

Also get rid of the single quote as below

@twister ,

I can assure you this is a valid process, so there is something missing - I need your help here as well as I cannot see your app or data, so please engage in a bit of thought on trouble shooting.

Firstly, you have a Variable varID (which is 66 in your screenshot) and you have on the Item of the Form

LookUp(
   sync_main,
   ID=varID
)

Please check also that your DataSource on the Form is [@sync_main] - if so, your record should show on the Form.
Now also noting that varID has a value and this is at App OnStart

If(
   !IsBlank(Param("AppID")),
   Set(varID,Value(Param("AppID"))),
   Navigate(DetailScreen, Cover)
)

it should navigate you to the DetailsScreen and (I assume the form is there) and display the record.
Please re-check everything as above.

Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

@twister ,

You have extra brackets around the IsBlank part (see my code below and further down).

@twister ,

Can you please take a moment to read the post properly before coming back - there are two extra brackets. I can guide you here, but you must try and understand the logic, or you will not be able to repeat it in the future.

@twister ,

Sorry, I am out of ideas - there is something you are missing telling me (which you obviously have not thought of).

It makes absolutely no sense that you have a value in varID (you confirmed this as the correct number) when set in the opening parameter, the LookUp on the form works when selected in the gallery with the same ID, but the same LookUp does not work when navigating from the opening of the app.

Please have a think about this and take some time (not the 2 minutes return you have been doing).

You are setting an number that simply looks up a record to display - follow it through and see what values you have during the process.
