record time

hi every one now

i have problem is i don't know for record time  because i see to record time in youtube they will use dropdown 

but i don't want use it 

u can see picture for help me 

14.11.24  i use code Text(currentTime,DateTimeFormat.LongTime24) and i have 1 timer for duration time = 1000 

because i want to see  hour : min : sec 

and now i want to record first time when i click start button 

and i want to record last time when i click stop button

To record the time to a global variables, try the following:

Set(gblFirstTime, currentTime);
Set(gblLastTime, currentTime);

To record the times to a data source, use the Patch function:

Hi @Anonymous ,

Use this code on start button:

UpdateContext({varStartTime: Now()})

and use this code where u=you want to show the start time:

Text(varStartTime,DateTimeFormat.LongTime24)

same thing for end button just change the name of variable like:

UpdateContext({varEndTime: Now()})

If you want to save these values into a data source then do it like this on start button:

Patch (MachineIssues, Defaults (MachineIssues), {StartTime: Now ()})

and on End button do this:

Patch (MachineIssues, Last (MachineIssues), {EndTime: Now ()})

now i have a new problem i have 2 screen ; screen1 =  sc1 , screen2 = sc2

i follow u code and i can do this is a good information and i don't know 

is a problem sc1 i follow you code i have a  time start show in lable5 

and next screen i want to show it again in a lable6 

but lable 6 show false  and i use code  label6 = lable5  i dont understand why time for show in lable6 

and last code is you say

@Anonymous instead of using  label6 = lable5 use label.text in Label6 text property.
