I have attached the excel file and the exported zip file for schema of my dataverse table. Please convert it to CSV(comma-delimited) and try on your end. If any idea on what the issue is , please let me know.

Hi @PratikJ

Please check the CSV log open in note pad to check what is the look up value for the service areas, I think most of users might have created record with Building > change to Building works or create a new record with name Building work. This is most common error currently.

The other error comes if the user have change the date format from personalization setting, make it to default one which English(United State), than you might be able to import the data nicely.

As shared I was able to upload the imports easily.

Hi PratikJ

I also ran into this problem and after much head scratching I discovered it is because the dates in the CSV file are in month/day/year format instead of day/month/year.

If you open the file in notepad and manually alter the dates, save the file, then try uploading it again it should work.

Best wishes,

Mark

Hi @PratikJ ,

Make sure you have the proper import template, you can download the import template from Dynamics 365 and fill in your required data and try to import. Let me know if you need any help regarding this.

Can you ellaborate how to do it. I am not very experienced in PowerPlatform

Hi PratikJ,

To be sure the problem is not your table schema, I also exported mine to compare with yours and it looks the same as in the screenshot.

My suggestions would be to first:

  1. convert your MaintenanceLogs.xlsx to CSV or select the MaintenanceLogs.CSV file directly from the curriculum resources (there are both csv and xlsx files present in the folder) then try to import the file again
  2. recheck the fields in the image below to ensure it is correctly filled
  3. tick the first row are column headings box, allow duplicates and do the mapping.

I hope it works.

I did the same as you asked, but it still ended with errors
